- Direction
- Bidirectional
- Typical setup
- 3 to 7 days
Restaurant groups, franchisees and mid-size property owners on Sage Intacct typically enter one AP bill per utility account per month, tagged with a location dimension. Trace Global reads those bills and payments through the Sage Intacct Web Services API.
Access uses a Web Services sender ID authorized in your company and a dedicated Web Services user with read access to Accounts Payable. Multi-entity companies can grant access at the top level or per entity.
If you want bills entered for you, we create AP bills with vendor, location, department and GL account set and the bill PDF attached, in draft or submitted status as you choose.
How the data feeds the audit
- Find utility bills entered twice for the same service period.
- Calculate late fees from payment dates against utility due dates.
- Flag bills still posting to locations marked inactive.
- Confirm utility credits and refund checks were recorded.
Setup
- 1Authorize the Trace Global Web Services sender ID in company settings.
- 2Create a Web Services user with read access to Accounts Payable.
- 3Share the user credentials through the credential vault.
- 4Select the entities and utility vendors in scope.
- 5Review the first reconciliation report.
